Free online mindfulness programme released
As part of the Staff Wellbeing offering, the HR team have released an ‘Introducing Mindfulness’ programme that features resources, activities and guidance to help you explore the world of mindfulness.
Designed by mindfulness teacher John Artmitage, the programme is split into 6 parts and covers different principles and practices, with the aim of taking you on a short journey through some of the essential elements of a mindful approach to everyday living.
According to the Mental Health Foundation, studies have shown that people undertaking mindfulness training have shown increased activity in the area of the brain associated with positive emotion.
