The University offers a variety of catering facilities across the whole campus. The university’s catering is run by an in-house team under the brand name FoodLinc.
The University’s main catering outlet is Lindons in the Minerva Building, serving homemade meals, sandwiches and refreshments, and a large seating area. We are regularly refreshing our menus and the variety of food on offer so keep an eye on the menus.
FoodLinc outlets can be found across in the following university buildings: Theorem in Isaac Newton; Ground Works in Nicola de la Haye; GF&Co in David Chiddick; and Enterprise Café in Enterprise. All serve a range of snacks, soups, panini, sandwiches and refreshments, and again, seating areas are available. To complete the family, we have our popular Coffee Labs in Sarah Swift, Alfred Tennyson, Library and Think Tank where you can grab a hot or cold drink and a selection of snacks.
For coffee lovers we have introduced our own bespoke blend and roast of coffee 94 Degrees. A Fairtrade coffee using 100% Arabica beans from Columbia, Costa Rica and Brazil. Currently this is available in the Coffee Labs and Lindons. We are rolling out to the remaining units over the next few months. We also serve Costa in the Library and Starbucks in GF&Co.
Look out for the new Mobile van and Minerva coffee shop that will be opening over the summer of 2019.
There are also numerous vending machines for your convenience out of hours and at weekends in many buildings, offering drinks and snacks.
In addition, we have a number of partners who provide additional catering on campus. These include Café Zing in the LPAC offering barista coffee, cold drinks and sandwiches, and the Students’ Union who operate Towers Bar and The Swan.
All of our catering facilities are open to students, staff and the general public, and we look forward to seeing you soon.
