Salary scales are determined by the grade of the role through the Higher Education Role Analysis framework.
Under normal circumstances, annual increments will take place that will progress you through the appropriate grade in acknowledgement of your development and service. This continues until the ceiling of the grade is reached upon which basis you will remain placed upon the top spinal point.
We are part of the joint national pay negotiation discussions that take place each year to determine pay and conditions. Any agreed increases to the rates of pay will be implemented and actioned against the Single Pay Spine.
